In short, the site has no cookies and no accounts. Nothing you type is sent out of the browser you use.

Information your browser keeps

The test format you selected and the numbers you entered are kept in your browser's local storage, with the names actsc.format and actsc.values. This keeps your numbers in place after you reload the page. A reset removes both of them, and clearing your browser's site data does the same.

As you enter scores, they also appear in the page address, so the link you copy opens with the same numbers. Anyone who receives that link from you can view those numbers.

What this site counts

To find out whether the calculator is used, this site's own server receives a short note from the page each time it opens, you stay a while, you get a composite, you copy a result or you open a link to another site. Every note includes the page path, the event and your screen width, with the width rounded to the nearest hundred pixels. It also includes the page you came from. For a link, it adds the other site's name. The numbers you type are never included.

Standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, are also kept by the web host. They support site security and help the site keep running.

Activities this site does not perform

Across other websites, there is no tracking from this site. It uses no cookies, third-party scripts or ads. Data is something we do not sell or share.

Your privacy choices

Because nothing is sold or shared for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. If you still want to opt out of sale or sharing, or ask what the server logs hold, write to the address below and we will reply.
