Sources

For scores, rules and question counts, we use ACT's own publications. These include the Preparing for the ACT booklet, scoring keys and ACT's score pages. Whenever a number depends on a document, we link to that document.

Plain language

We write explanations for a student reading on a phone, and we keep them short. When a rule has an exception, we tell you about it instead of weakening the rule.

No payment for influence

No company pays for a spot on the site, and the site carries neither ads nor affiliate links. We don't place anything on the page to sell a course.

Corrections

Email contact@actscorecalculator.org if any information doesn't match what ACT publishes. We check it against the ACT document and correct the page if we were wrong. Then we reply to explain what changed.
